Variance Data Entry. When "No" is clicked to indicate a variance (see previous screenshot), the Variance Data Entry screen is displayed. Steps: 1. Click a box to indicated whether the intervention at variance was done early, late, or not at all. In this example, the treatment was not done at all, so the NOT Done [DROP] box was clicked. 2. Click all the causes (reasons) the variance occurred. There are four categories of causes -- Patient or Caregiver, Provider, Internal System, and External System. Any number of reasons can be clicked. In this example, the box indicating "Lack of Physician Order" was selected. Close Window
